A little bit about myself

My name is Anderson Andrei Da Silva, Ph.D.
I recently concluded a Postdoctoral project, in Hewlett Packard Labs (HPE Labs), in California in 2024.
I have a Doctorate in Computer Science from the University of Grenoble-Alpes, in France, obtained in 2023.
I have a MSc in Computer Science from University of Grenoble-Alpes, obtained in 2019.
My undergraduate degree was done at the University of São Paulo, in Brazil, concluded in 2020.

I have been working focused on the following research topics: Serverless, Cloud and Edge Computing, Scheduling Policies, High Performance Computing, Data Science, Computer Networks, Parallel and Distributed Systems.

My Ph.D thesis was done in collaboration with Ryax Technologies, and its subject was upon Serverless Runtime for Hybrid Edge-Cloud Infrastructures. My advisors were professors Grégory Mounié and Denis Trystram from Univesité Grenoble Alpes, Grenoble INP - LIG, and Yiannis Georgiou and Michael Mercier from Ryax Technologies.
Also, during my thesis I was working on the European Project called PHYSICS (Optimized Hybrid Space-Time Continuum in FaaS) .
My master's project was focused on the Scheduling of Jobs in Edge-Cloud Platforms. My advisor was professor Denis Trystram from Univesité Grenoble Alpes, Grenoble INP - LIG.
During my undegraduate studies, I worked on projects focused on Smart Cities, specifically on AD-HOC and Vehicular Networks. My advisor was professor Alfredo Goldman.
